I am married to Boyd Steere. We met over the Internet when I was living in Melbourne, Australia, and he was living in Los Angeles, USA. After spending a small fortune on trans-Pacific plane fares and phone calls I moved to the US, and we were married on August 10th, 1996. We have two sons, Alexander and Nicholas. The four of us share a house in Carmel, IN with two half-Siamese cats named Buttons and Muffin, and a mongrel dog named Honey. My hobbies are digital photography, city-building computer games and collecting Sindy dolls.

My favorite authors are David Brin, Ursula Le Guin, Christopher Priest, Ruth Rendell/Barbara Vine and Connie Willis. My favorite books are Le Guin's The Dispossessed and Brin's Earth. I'm a vegetarian. My birthday is on April the 26th, and I turned 36 in 2006.
